TANGO MANGO
’The Totnes Tango scene seems to have a very large amount of heart per capita‘
A tango festival with a difference – this is a luscious opportunity for all who want to immerse themselves in tango, no matter how much dance experience you have. People come from near and far to use these days to develop their dancing.
A Tango Mango provides a learning environment where you dance for hours on end at cut price costs, to explore tango in a supportive environment. You can dance from 10.00 until 23.30 every day, with private and group classes also available from a range of international teachers, and a different DJ every evening.
Tango Mango takes place in Totnes, Devon, a small, picturesque and quirky town with an exceptionally friendly tango scene. It’s organised by Ruth Zimmerman, a tango fanatic and experienced tango teacher. Flybe operate flights directly between Schiphol and Exeter, or Easyjet fly to Bristol and you can take a train to Totnes. It’s possible to find affordable Bed & Breakfast lodgings in and around Totnes, or you can camp on the school grounds where the event is held. We can highly recommend it!
